Dave Jurkowski - Drums/Vocals

Hinge's bottom line beat is provided by Dave Jurkowski. Born and raised on Chicago's Northwest side, Dave always had an interest in the drums. You can always tell by his tapping on the kitchen table, refrigerator or even the dashboard of your car while driving. Dave has taken a few lessons to improve his natural talent, however his abilities are mostly self-taught, much to the dismay of his neighbors.

Dave's influences include Alex Van Halen, Neal Peart, Phil Collins, and Chad Smith. His favorite bands include Van Halen, Chickenfoot, Sammy Hagar, Genesis, Foo Fighters, Elvis Presley, Seven Mary Three, Pearl Jam and Stone Temple Pilots.

Dave is a union sprinkler fitter by trade. His other interests include darts, visiting microbreweries, grilling, tending to his saltwater aquarium, and playing darts.

Dave plays an Orange County Drums and Percussion kit and uses Paiste and Zildjian cymbals. Dave is also building and selling custom drums through a company he founded with a fellow drummer and friend called DnR Drums.
