Kyric - Bass guitar

Hinge's low end bass sound is provided by Kyric McMillan. Kyric's musical experience began at a young age via the piano and the French horn. Once he was old enough to see live music, he became interested in the bass and the impact that it brings to a band.

Kyric holds a bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Valparaiso University and works in technical sales for an industrial chemical company.

Kyric's influences include Geddy Lee , Berry Oakley and Victor Wooten. He likes listening to Rush, Van Halen, Pink Floyd, Bob Marley, The Allman Brothers, Little Feat, The Grateful Dead, Radiohead, The Strokes, Spoon, The Pixies, and much more.

Kyric plays a Squier Vintage Retro jazz bass. Kyric learned the bass by instruction from Jerry Evans. The following is a link to Jerry's website.
