Mike Drogos - Lead Guitar/Vocals

Mike Drogos or Big D as most of his friends know him by has been playing the guitar since 7th grade. He tried lessons but grew tired of the theory and just wanted to learn songs. At an early age, he found that he had a gift of being able to put on a record (as us older folks remember ) or a cd and figure it out himself by ear. Over the years his guitar collection grew. Yes there are a few nice lefty's out there.

Mike took a hiatus from bands indefinitely though he stayed musically active writing and recording in his home studio. But like most musicians, the craving to play out would eventually rear its face again. Since then, Mike has become a main force in the HINGE arsenal by bringing his stunning ax work and vocals to the band's sound.

Mike is a left-handed lead guitar player who uses Ibanez, Epiphone, and Jackson guitars. His current rig is a Line 6 Spider lll, with a Marshall bottom and Morley Bad Horsie Wah. Nice and simple !!!

Mike's main influences are Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Eddie Van Halen, and Jimmy Page.
